The NY Reiki Conference is organized by SPARK and UNU. The conference creators and management base are Dave Gorczynski and Inoshi Denizen. Dave is president of SPARK and Inoshi founder and organizer of UNU.

 

SPirited Action, Release and Kindness, Inc. (SPARK®) is a volunteer-driven New York-based 501c3 non-profit that began as a 9/11 volunteer response in 2002, and now provides free and accessible Reiki training and informational workshops, treatment programs and special event services to communities in the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn.

UNU, an East-West informed wellness community based in NYC, with programs designed and organized to engage people in dialog, embodied practice, meditation and Energy Medicine.  UNU events provide people with multiple nodes to direct and safe experience of self awareness, understanding and wellness in life.

Dave Gorczynski

Dave Gorczynski co-founded SPARK in 2002 and has managed, and volunteered with the organization since July 2003.Dave has been practicing energy work since October 2000 and has dedicated his life to helping others through its use following the events of 9/11. Dave has studied numerous energy therapies and received Master Level certification in both Usui and Komyo Reiki , and has provided his services to a variety of non-profit organizations across New York City. Dave currently works full-time in advertising finance and he holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and French from Dickinson College. He speaks French and Spanish.

Inoshi Denizen

Inoshi Denizen is an Energy Wellness Practitioner and Perceptual Guide. His multiple credentials include Usui and Komyo Reiki, which he combines into a distinctive practice, providing safe, sensitive Energy Medicine therapy and guidance to numerous clients. He has years of continuous experience in the business sector and founded UNU as an outgrowth of his spiritual and wellness interests, through which he hosts individual and group sessions, designs workshops, organizes events, and provides volunteer opportunities. Inoshi holds an MA from New York University and dual Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington in Seattle, his birth city.
